“Odisseya” is an action fantasy film about Odissey, the king of Ithaca, who sets out for home after the Trojan War. Leading a small army, he hopes to return to his wife, Penelopa, but the journey is filled with danger.
Along the way, Odissey encounters cyclopes, sirens and man-eating giants. The film is screened in Russian. The cast includes Matt Damon, Charlize Theron, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Tom Holland and others. Directed by Christopher Nolan. Rated 18+.

- At director Christopher Nolan's request, Matt Damon grew a beard for the role of Odysseus. The actor later said he had never grown a beard before.
- Christopher Nolan decided to make the film because he had long admired the work of visual-effects master Ray Harryhausen, and because high-budget films based on classical mythology had not been made for some time.
- Approximately 640 km of film was used during shooting.
- Specially designed IMAX camera housings were used for filming; they muffled the sound of the camera motors and made it easier to record dialogue. Attempts to create similar housings for the science-fiction action film “Tenet” had been unsuccessful.
- An IMAX camera holds enough film for only three minutes of shooting. The assistant camera operator learned to reload the reels so quickly that the actors had very little waiting to do.
- For some scenes, equipment—including IMAX cameras weighing close to 200 kg—had to be lifted by helicopter onto mountain slopes.
- A total of 5 300 costumes were made for the film. At some points, more than 500 costume designers around the world were working on it.
- Several Trojan horses more than 10 meters tall were built for filming. The horse, which was repeatedly moved along the shore, was badly damaged, and the crew joked that it would need nine lives, like a cat, to make it to the end of filming.
