“Avengers: Endgame. Extended Version” is a US film combining drama, action, adventure and science fiction. The surviving members of the Avengers team and their allies must develop a new plan to oppose the destructive actions of the powerful titan Thanos.
After the most extensive and tragic battle in history, they cannot afford a mistake. The film runs for 183 minutes and is presented in 2D.

- In its first days of release, the film set several box-office records: the fastest time to reach $1 billion in grosses (5 days), the biggest worldwide weekend gross ($1.2 billion), and the biggest worldwide weekend grosses for IMAX ($91.5 million) and 3D ($540 million).
- On May 9, 2019, the film’s worldwide gross passed $2.2 billion, moving it into second place on the list of the highest-grossing films in history and overtaking James Cameron’s Titanic. Cameron, in turn, congratulated Kevin Feige’s team on Twitter.
- Natalie Portman did not take part in filming; instead, a deleted scene from Thor 2: The Dark World was used, for which the actress recorded voice-over.
- Only Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. read the full script. The other actors saw only the portions in which their characters appeared.
- The film’s first official trailer became the first in YouTube channel history to receive over a million “likes” in less than 4 hours.
- The film was shot at the same time as the fantasy action film Avengers: Infinity War (Anthony and Joe Russo, 2018). Filming took 200 days.
- Robert Downey Jr., who played Tony Stark — Iron Man, had quick snacks stashed all over the set. Every scene in which his character chews something and offers snacks to his colleagues on set was entirely improvised.
- While developing the idea of time travel, the screenwriters consulted experts in quantum physics.
