At an eastern bazaar among melons and watermelons, Khoja Nasreddin begins telling the story of Aladdin. His donkey interrupts the tale, giving the familiar story a new stage life in a puppet theatre.

The production features the courtyard outside Aladdin’s house with its daybed and grapevine, the Evil Sorcerer’s cave, palace walls with white ornamentation, the in-love and deceived Aladdin, the headstrong but loyal Princess Budur, and the Genie made of fire and smoke. The show is for audiences aged 3 and over.
