Jadidlar

The play “Jadidlar” presents the ideas and aspirations of such enlightened figures as Munavvar qori Abdurashidxonov, Abdurauf Fitrat, Abdulla Qodiriy, Abdulhamid Cho‘lpon, Hamza Hakimzoda Niyoziy, Is’hoqxon To‘ra Ibrat and Abdulla Avloniy. It shows their pursuit of freedom, independence and the spiritual awakening of the people, as well as their readiness to sacrifice their lives for these ideals.

The production also portrays the formation of theatre in Uzbekistan at the beginning of the last century, the development of new-type schools and the conflict between the old and the new, good and evil. The playwright is T. Mirzo and the stage director is D. Haqberdiyev. The performance is in Uzbek and has no interval.
