Sadriddin Ayni House-Museum

The Sadriddin Ayni House-Museum is devoted to the life and work of the Tajik writer, poet and public figure. It occupies the house where Ayni lived and worked during the last years of his life: a modest building surrounded by greenery, where the furnishings of that period have been preserved.

The displays include the writer's personal belongings, manuscripts and books, along with photographs and documents that trace his life and literary legacy. Separate exhibits cover his role in the development of Tajik literature and culture and his work for the rights and freedoms of the peoples of Central Asia.

The museum also holds cultural events, lectures and exhibitions connected with Ayni's life and work.
