Turkiston bolalari

The play “Turkiston bolalari” is based on B. Irzayev’s book “Uzbek Youth and Education Abroad” and J. Jovliyev’s novel “Don’t Be Afraid”. Set in the last century, it follows two students who dream of seeing Turkestan free and prosperous. Although they are very different, both are driven by the same goal.

Supported by the Jadids and risking their lives, the young men fight for their ideas. They are drawn into the bloody politics of Soviet rule, leading to irreversible consequences. The play is written by G. Mat’yokubova and directed by R. Tagaykulov.
